This is the federal agency that administers Social Security. It will provide information on social security survivor’s and disability benefits and supplemental security income (SSI) benefits for disabled, blind, or aged, or replacement Social Security or Medicare cards.

The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) administers the project. Services include developing a confidential, personalized benefit plan, understanding how work can affect benefits, and counseling and support on issues concerning benefits. A similar grant was awarded to Massachusetts Project with Industry, Inc. (The Resource Partnership). It provides services to Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire, Hampton, Worcester and Middlesex counties (excluding Somerville). 1-508-647-1722.
