Community Support Services (CSS)
NRM’s community support specialists provide individualized skill development training to help the client enhance problem-solving abilities, contribute to home life, and/or enhance community engagement. The 1:1 support provided by the CSS is intended to encourage the client to take positive steps toward independent living.
CSS services may include assistance with:

Accessing the community, medical appointments, and other resources

Creating schedules and routines

Developing and/or modifying compensatory strategies (i.e. ways to use your strengths to compensate for a decrease in functioning in a particular area)
