Maddie holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She began her career in the correctional system as a substance use counselor, gaining extensive experience with individuals in medication-assisted treatment. Her background also includes working with high-risk offenders within the correctional system, supporting them in making positive changes and engaging in personal plans to promote success post-release. Additionally, Maddie has worked in permanent supportive housing, assisting individuals transitioning out of homelessness to maintain stable housing and live independently. She is passionate about supporting vulnerable populations through person-centered care and believes in meeting individuals where they are.

 

In her free time, Maddie enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing with her dog, and working in her garden.
